A shared family assistant

Stop being the
family admin.

RosterKin lives in your family group chat. It reads the school and club emails so you don't have to, flags the deadlines and payments before they slip, adds confirmed bookings to your calendar, and drafts the fiddly replies. You just tap approve.

The bit no one signed up for

Every week, the same firehose.

Trip forms. "Reply by Friday." A payment due at the office. Kit lists. Holiday-club places that sell out by lunchtime. It arrives across a shared inbox and lands on whichever one of you happens to open it, and the things that slip are the ones that cost you.

How it works

Three steps, then it just runs.

STEP 1

Connect once.

Link your shared Gmail and your family's group chat from the dashboard. About two minutes. You can add more than one inbox.

STEP 2

RosterKin keeps watch.

It reads new mail (strictly read-only, never marking or replying on its own) and posts what matters to your group: deadlines, payments, and bookings.

STEP 3

You stay in control.

Confirmed bookings go straight to your shared calendar. Anything that would send an email is drafted and waits for your tap. Nothing leaves without you.

What you get

The whole family's admin, handled together.

📌

Nothing slips

Deadlines and payments surfaced the day they land, marked clearly (a reply-by date, an amount due), not buried in a thread.

📅

Bookings on the calendar

A confirmed booking is added automatically, with an Undo button. If it clashes with something, RosterKin flags it rather than hiding it.

✉️

Replies, drafted

"Ask the nursery when Tom starts pre-school." RosterKin writes the email in your voice, you read it and approve before a single word is sent.

👪

Both parents, in sync

One shared assistant, one shared view. No more "did you see that email?" or two people chasing the same form.

📍

Clubs near you

"Any holiday clubs for Maya within 10 miles?" RosterKin checks your saved clubs by age and distance, and can look for new ones.

A calm daily digest

The non-urgent things batched into one message at a time you choose, with quiet hours respected. Only the urgent stuff interrupts.

Built for children's data

Careful by design.

This is your family's information, so safety isn't a feature, it's the starting point.

🔒

Nothing is ever sent without you

Every outgoing email waits for an explicit tap. RosterKin has no way to send an email on its own, the approval isn't a setting, it's how it's built.

👀

Read-only on your inbox

RosterKin reads to understand and never changes your mail. Nothing is marked read, no labels are touched, nothing is deleted.

🇪🇺

Your data stays in the EU

Processed and stored in London (AWS, eu-west-2). Inbox access is encrypted at rest, and we store short summaries, not the emails themselves.

Yours to delete

Export or delete everything, any time, from the dashboard. We revoke Google access and purge your data, no email to send, no waiting.

The pilot

Join the first 30–40 families. Free.

RosterKin is early. We're opening it to a small group of families for three months, at no cost, to get it right with real school runs and real inboxes.

  • It's a pilot, so RosterKin will sometimes get things wrong. Because nothing sends or changes without your approval, mistakes are low-stakes, you'll see them on the card before they happen.
  • No fee, no card. Free for pilot families for the whole three months. If it's ever paid later, you decide then.
  • Leave whenever. Delete your account and all your data in one click, no notice, no questions.
  • A heads-up on Google's screen. During sign-in you'll see an "unverified app" warning from Google, we're a new app going through their review. It's expected; you can continue safely.

Request your pilot place

We'll email you to confirm and walk you through setup.

≈30–40 places · Open until 22 October 2026

This is a design preview, the live form connects to RosterKin' secure signup.
Questions

The things parents ask.

Is it really free?

Yes, free for pilot families, for the full three months, with no card required. We'll always be upfront before anything changes.

Which messaging app does RosterKin use, and is WhatsApp coming?

Today RosterKin lives in a shared Telegram group: it's free, private, and takes a minute to set up. Under the hood RosterKin is built to be channel-agnostic, so WhatsApp or an in-app chat can be added without rebuilding anything. Tell us what your family already uses in the notes and we'll prioritise it.

Do I need a new app?

Only Telegram (free). You make a group for your family, add RosterKin' bot, and link it once, both parents in the same chat. No separate RosterKin app to install.

What can RosterKin actually see?

Only the shared inbox you connect. It reads mail to classify it and stores a short summary plus the sender and date, not the emails themselves. It never marks your mail read, changes labels, or touches inboxes you don't connect.

Does RosterKin ever email a club on its own?

Never. Every outbound email (to a club, a school, anyone) is drafted and waits in your group until someone taps Approve. RosterKin has no way to send on its own, and it never starts a payment.

Where is my data kept?

In the EU (London), encrypted. Your Google sign-in is encrypted at rest and never logged, and we keep summaries rather than your emails. Because this is children's information, we hold it to the UK Children's Code and UK GDPR.

Can I delete everything?

Any time, in one click from the dashboard. We revoke Google's access and purge your data, including your children's details. Export first if you'd like a copy.

What if it drafts a bad email?

You see the exact email (recipient, subject, full text) before anything sends. Edit it, or bin it. Nothing leaves without your tap.
